As the Social Skills Coordinator at CIP Berkeley, Mike Vaughn has a strong passion for the personal development of his students. He currently serves as the Director of Education at Berkeley Community Media, a non-profit public access television station. Pilar's eagerness to help empower others to strive for success led her to pursue a Master’s degree in Social Work and Community Organizing from Baylor University, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, and Gender Studies, from the University of Redlands. Since completing her Master’s degree, she has gone on to work at Baylor University, Waco Family YMCA, Texas State Technical College and Mills College, before landing with CIP as the Program Director at CIP Berkeley.
