Two-week summer programs for students with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences offered on college campuses across the U.S.

 

We are thrilled to announce that applications are now open for our highly anticipated Summer@CIP 2025 programs! Designed for teens and young adults with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences, CIP’s two-week summer programs provide an immersive experience on highly-rated college and university campuses nationwide.

Program Highlights: Independence, College Life, and Fun!

Since 2009, Summer@CIP has empowered hundreds of teens and young adults with learning differences to prepare for their next steps after high school, whether that’s pursuing a college education, preparing for the workforce, or gaining independent living skills. Participants get a real taste of college life while building their confidence in a supportive environment.

This year, the program will be hosted at the following prestigious locations:

  • University of Central Florida - Orlando, FL
  • Indiana University - Bloomington, IN
  • University of California - Berkeley, CA
  • California State University - Long Beach, CA
  • Bard College @ Simon’s Rock - Great Barrington, MA

 

Summer@CIP Dates and Locations:

  • Indiana University - Bloomington, IN: July 13 - July 25, 2025
  • University of Central Florida - Orlando, FL: July 13 - July 25, 2025
  • University of California - Berkeley, CA: July 13 - July 25, 2025
  • Bard College @ Simon’s Rock - Great Barrington, MA: July 20 - August 1, 2025
  • California State University - Long Beach, CA: July 13 - July 25, 2025

 

Admissions Criteria:

Eligible students must meet the following criteria:

  • Diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Dyslexia, or other learning differences
  • High school students entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the fall, as well as recent graduates
  • Full-Scale IQ of 80 or above
  • Emotional and psychological stability for at least one year prior to applying
  • Ability to administer medications independently with minimal prompts
  • Enrolled in a majority of mainstream classes without needing 1:1 support
  • Reading fluency at least at a 6th-grade level
  • Motivation to participate fully in all aspects of the program
