On April 17, 2025, Berkshire Community College (BCC) held its annual Falconer and Academic Excellence Awards ceremony at the Boland Theater, recognizing the very best among its student body. These distinguished awards are presented to students who demonstrate exceptional achievement in their areas of study, as nominated by BCC faculty members.
This year, 32 outstanding students were honored—and we’re thrilled to share that two of them are CIP Berkshire students!
Congratulations to Juliette and Nick
Juliette was awarded the Falconer Award in Theatre, and Nick received the Falconer Award in Music. These honors reflect not only their talent and dedication to their craft, but also the hard work they’ve invested throughout the academic year. Being selected among the “best of the best” is a true mark of excellence and a proud moment for the entire CIP community.
A Lasting Legacy at the BCC Library
In addition to receiving a certificate and a $100 award, each Falconer recipient is honored with a unique tribute: a book purchased in their name for the BCC Library. A personalized bookplate inside includes the student’s name, program of study, and award year. These books are displayed following the ceremony and are available for immediate checkout—a meaningful and lasting symbol of academic recognition.
We’re incredibly proud of Juliette and Nick for this well-deserved achievement. Their passion, perseverance, and creativity are inspiring, and we can’t wait to see where their talents lead them next.
