Announcing the 2024-2025 CIP Independence Award Scholarship Winners!

We are excited to announce our 2024-2025 Independence Award Scholarships have been awarded! Recognizing the need for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion, the Independence Award aims to provide greater opportunity and access to neurodivergent young adults who wish to enroll in the College Internship Program's Full-Year Program offering.

Qualifying students meet CIP’s admissions criteria, have been accepted to CIP’s Comprehensive Full-Year Program, and are either economically disadvantaged or of minority heritage, including but not limited to Black, African-American, Asian, South Asian, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, Latinx, Chicanx, Native American, and multiracial.

This year, we have awarded $76,000 in tuition funds to four outstanding individuals. Each recipient will receive $19,000 annually for up to three years, significantly supporting their educational journey at CIP.

Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The Independence Award Scholarship is a testament to CIP's commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within our community. By subsidizing the cost of tuition for incoming and returning CIP Full-Year Program students, we aim to provide opportunities for motivated individuals of color and those who are economically disadvantaged. We believe that diverse perspectives enrich our community and contribute to the growth and success of all students.

Supporting Financial Need

At CIP, we understand that financial barriers can prevent talented students from accessing the education they deserve. The Independence Award Scholarship strives to bridge this gap, ensuring that financial need does not stand in the way of students achieving their full potential. By providing substantial financial support, we help keep education within reach for those who need it most.

Celebrating Our Recipients

We are proud to support these remarkable students and look forward to seeing their contributions to the CIP community. Their dedication, resilience, and diverse backgrounds will undoubtedly enhance the learning environment for everyone at CIP.

Congratulations to all our scholarship recipients! Your achievements inspire us, and we are honored to be a part of your educational journey. Together, we are building a more inclusive and equitable future.
