Each year, all students from CIP’s Centers across the US have the opportunity to participate together in our Global Engagement program - an exciting and educational staff-led travel experience during the mid-term winter break. These unique adventures provide an excellent opportunity for students to broaden their horizons, practice their newfound skills, and learn about other cultures in a safe, supervised environment.

This year, we've planned an amazing trip for students to GREECE. This is a trip our students won't want to miss, filled with history, culture, world famous museums, island cruise, workshops, and attractions.

CIP's Program for Global Engagement was developed by CIP as an exciting and educational staff-led travel experience during the mid-term winter break with a mission and vision to introduce students to new cultural experiences in a well-rounded, immersive yet supportive and safe adventure while practicing their CIP-informed strategies and interacting with new CIP peers. The program is equally rewarding to staff and directors as a chance-in-a-lifetime opportunity to grow leadership skills in an inventive, cutting-edge academic environment.

The tour will begin with several days in Athens. They'll take a walking tour of Athens, including the Plaka District and the Temple of Olympian Zeus and some independent exploration of the Saronic Islands. The group will continue with their expert local guide to the Olympic Stadium and Syntagma Square, the central square of Athens. Students will also have the opportunity to participate in a Greek cooking lesson and take a guided tour of the Acropolis, including the Parthenon and the Temple of Athena Nike. They'll then celebrate New Year's Eve with dinner in Athens before traveling via the Corinth Canal to Argolida for a photo stop at the Roman Bridge in Corinth and then on to  dinner in the Argolida region. They'll then continue on Epidaurus, Mycenae and Olympia. They'll then travel to Delphi for a walking tour of important landmarks of antiquity, including the Temple of Apollo and Ruins of Delphi. They'll then enjoy dinner in Athens before boarding their flight home.

CIP students and staff also have the opportunity to travel within their own communities as well as in the broader United States throughout the full-year program year.
