CIP student Sam H. graduated from Erie Community College last May in Computer Repair Technology with a GPA of 3.5.
Over the summer, he worked to find himself an apartment to live in within his budget, hired a U-Haul truck, found another person to help him move all his things, collaborated with his current apartment-mate as to who would take what furniture, and packed up all the things that have accrued over his three years at CIP. In addition to all this, he applied for several jobs. He eventually landed a position at Buffalo ReuseIT as a Computer Repair Tech.
The amazing thing about this is that Sam could never have handled all this when he first arrived at CIP. In the past, he would have become overwhelmed by this process and dealt with anxiety. In Sam's own words, "the biggest thing I have learned here at CIP is to manage my anxiety."
