CIP Berkeley Is On The Move!

Due to sustained growth and to best serve their students, CIP Berkeley is moving to a larger space located in the same building in downtown Berkeley. The new, unified space encompasses over 10,000 square feet and has been uniquely designed to serve students with learning differences.

CIP is a comprehensive transition program serving teens and young adults with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences.

The new space is centrally located near student apartments, public transportation, Berkeley City College, and UC Berkeley. It will provide designated areas for individual and group student services including academic and career support and a place for students to socialize. The space also features designated areas for creative arts, cooking, and group exercise, and offers on-site security, high-speed fiber optic internet, and secure access.

“Our Berkeley program has experienced managed growth over the past several years,”  commented CIP President Dan McManmon. “Having one unified space allows us to design a unique student learning environment and deliver unparalleled services for students with autism and learning differences. We are proud to share that 8.8 out of 10 of our families stated that they would be likely to refer a friend to our program.”

In addition to the comprehensive programming offered on-site, many students are enrolled in local colleges and are employed by local businesses. Established in 2007, CIP’s Berkeley Center is located near essential services, stores, public transportation, and countless recreational activities. This eco-conscious city is well known for its diversity, inclusivity, academics, advocacy, and the arts.

As of early January 2022, the move has been completed.
