CIP To Host Open House Events For Students With Autism and Learning Differences

CIP Press ReleaseThe College Internship Program (CIP) will host Experience Day open house events at their five locations across the country during the month of September. Prospective students, their families, and special needs professionals are invited to attend.

Each Center will host events at their program site, beginning with CIP Brevard’s Experience Day in Melbourne, Florida on September 9, and wrapping up with CIP Long Beach’s event in California on September 23. 

Experience Day Highlights:

  • Meet with staff to learn about CIP’s program offerings
  • Tours of the facilities and program overview
  • Interactive student panel 
  • Social activities for students

"These events provide an opportunity for families and professionals to learn first hand about our groundbreaking work with young adults with autism and learning differences," commented Abby Powers, Director of Admissions Operations for CIP.

Founded in 1984, CIP’s comprehensive postsecondary transition programs for young adults age 18-26 with autism, ADHD, and other learning differences support students as they transition to college, employment and independent living.
