Winter Break Trip 2017: Tokyo
December 28, 2017 – January 4, 2018
CIP’s Annual Winter Break Trip gives students a chance to experience the world while expanding their social horizon. You’ll get plenty of time in the capital to experience what makes Japanese culture unique before entering timeless Shinto shrines in the parks of Shibuya. Look up at the towering screens in the Ginza District or peer down from a cable car atop Mt. Komagatake—either way, Japan will give your student a distinctly new perspective.
The City Experience: 8 days
Gain insider knowledge and cultural perspective from licensed local guides who join your group for select experiences on tour. Attend a Japanese language and culture orientation. Take a guided tour of Tokyo and see: the Imperial Palace Plaza, the Harajuku neighborhood, Shibuya crossing, Shinjuku district, the Meiji Shrine, Ueno Park, a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, the Tokyo National Museum, Mount Fuji, Lake Ashi, and more.
NEW: Tokyo Disney Excursion
